PEANUT BUTTER BROWNIES Makes 15
1 1/4 cup ww pastry flour
1/2 cup peanuts, ground up
2/3 cup cocoa
2 cups MAPLE SUGAR
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup oat milk
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup oil
Mix wet and dry ingredients separately. Pour wet into dry. Batter should be stiff and moist. Use you hands or large spoon to spread batter into oiled baking dish. Bake in pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
This sounds heavenly. I am sure I can find maple sugar somewhere but tell me is it that much safer than just an organic sugar. I really want you to tell me yes it is.
It’s a sweetener, Susan. In recipes that call for a powdered sweetener, we chose maple sugar over coconut sugar. It’s a rare treat.
